A smooth and sultry Contemporary Jazz artist, Zemrah possesses a signature sound that is uniquely her own. A native of Chicago, Illinois – a city deeply rooted in jazz tradition -Zemrah has been captivating audiences since childhood, refining her vocal artistry through years of performance and passion. Zemrah first gained recognition as the lead female vocalist of the duet Fire & Ice, and was honored as the Crown Royal #I Female Vocalist of the Year. From that foundation, she launched a dynamic solo career that has included sharing stages with legends such as Nancy Wilson and Grammy Award-winner Kurt Elling, as well as headlining her own sold-out shows.
She is the Executive Producer of her acclaimed projects Irresistible Zemrah and Very Irresistible Zemrah. Her most recent release, Love is Possible, debuted to great acclaim at her 2019 CD Release Concert at the Kennedy King Theater in Chicago.
Beyond the studio and stage, Zemrah is the creator and producer of the annual “Here’s To Life” concert, a signature performance hosted at the 500-seat Conference Center Auditorium in Chicago Heights, IL. This production has enabled her to collaborate with top-tier musicians on both local and national stages.
Zemrah also hosts her weekly radio show, “Here’s To Life with Zemrah,” on Intellectual Radio, where she continues to uplift and inspire with her voice and perspective.
